Who writes this, and what you can hold us to.

The Reverse Recruiter's Handbook is published by the National Reverse Recruiter Association, the standards body for the profession, and edited by Arno Markus, the association's Founding President and the founder of its founding firm, iCareerSolutions. That connection is disclosed on every page, and it is why the handbook publishes standards, definitions and sourced data rather than rankings.

The National Reverse Recruiter Association (reverserecruiterassociation.com), founded 2026, a Delaware entity. The association publishes the Standard Process, the Code of Ethics and the credentials described on the standard page, and maintains the credential registry.

Editor

Editor. Former executive recruiter, Founding President of the National Reverse Recruiter Association, creator of the Reverse Recruitment Method™, Founder & CEO of iCareerSolutions. His own site is arnomarkus.com.

Disclosure

The editor founded and leads iCareerSolutions, the association's founding firm, which sells Reverse Recruiting engagements and appears in the directory. Readers should weigh that. The handbook manages the conflict the way the Code of Ethics requires members to: by disclosing it everywhere, by publishing definitions and a process that any competitor can be held to, by publishing data with its method and sources so it can be checked, and by refusing to publish rankings.

What the handbook publishes

The canonical definition and glossary of the profession.
The Standard Process, the Code of Ethics and the credentials, as adopted by the association.
Direct answers to the questions buyers ask, with what to ask a provider.
Sourced data with a published method, dated readings and downloadable files.
A directory of firms and practitioners that have committed to the standard, unranked.
Essays by the editor, marked as such and canonical to arnomarkus.com.

What it will not publish

Rankings or "best of" lists.
Estimated or inferred figures. If a provider does not publish a value, the handbook says "not published".
Claims about any provider's results that the provider has not published itself.
Paid placements of any kind.

Corrections

Every page carries a reviewed date. If a figure, a definition or a description of a provider is wrong, write to editorial@reverse-recruiter.com with the source. Corrections are made within five business days and noted on the page.

Reuse

The data sets are published under a Creative Commons Attribution licence. The definitions and text may be quoted with attribution to the National Reverse Recruiter Association and a link to the page.
